This role supports a Senior Wealth Advisor in managing and expanding an established client practice through thoughtful relationship development and strategic planning. You'll play a key part in delivering a seamless client experience by preparing for meetings, coordinating follow-ups, and helping implement comprehensive financial strategies tailored to individual goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Anticipate workflow needs and manage pre- and post-meeting tasks to enhance the Senior Advisor’s client-facing capacity.
- Engage directly in client meetings, contributing to discussions on financial planning, investment allocation, and tax-efficient strategies.
- Collaborate with specialists across tax, estate planning, and insurance to deliver integrated solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Develop financial plans using industry-standard software and maintain up-to-date knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Progressively take on greater client responsibility while upholding fiduciary standards and compliance protocols.
- Support practice growth through referrals and relationship-building, reflecting an entrepreneurial mindset.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and a CFP designation—or an acceptable alternative such as ChFC, PFS, CFA, or CIC—along with Series 65 registration or eligibility. A minimum of five years of experience in financial planning, advisory services, or a related field is required. Proficiency with financial planning tools, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interpret complex financial concepts for clients are essential.
Preference will be given to those with a master’s degree, sales experience, and a collaborative approach to team-based advisory work.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based in Fort Collins, CO, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration during standard business hours. Occasional travel may be needed for client engagements or training.
