About the Role

The position involves overseeing forestry activities within designated watershed regions, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and supporting long-term conservation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct forest health assessments across watershed lands
  • Develop and implement forest management plans
  • Monitor tree growth, disease, and pest infestations
  • Support reforestation and afforestation projects
  • Evaluate the impact of land use changes on forest ecosystems
  • Collaborate with environmental scientists on conservation strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of forest inventory and conditions
  • Inspect timber harvesting operations for regulatory compliance
