Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist other departments with labor needs as directed.
- Maintain consistent daily attendance and punctuality.
- Recognize and report potential safety hazards or unsafe conditions.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and assist with troubleshooting issues.
- Support shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and products.
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy; report discrepancies to supervisors and complete required documentation.
- Organize and stock inventory efficiently, optimizing storage space and placement.
- Serve as a lead technician for specific warehouse tasks and manage workflow priorities.
- Transport supplies and equipment to designated areas as needed.
- Assist with annual physical inventory counts and recordkeeping.
- Use computers and software systems to enter data and produce reports.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Suggest improvements in storage methods, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
- Report to work on time, follow assigned tasks, and remain until duties are completed or released by management, including scheduled overtime.
- Load, unload, and sort packages quickly and accurately in a high-speed setting.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
