Responsibilities
- Support the Shift Manager in daily operational tasks and issue resolution.
- Help coordinate responses to warehouse-related challenges as they arise.
- Organize and oversee warehouse team activities and functional duties.
- Ensure all warehouse tasks are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Collaborate with Operations Controllers to align plans with customer service goals.
- Enforce adherence to health and safety policies through safe practices and training.
- Maintain records of team performance and report unresolved operational risks.
- Support training initiatives, including on-the-job coaching and performance evaluation.
- Work with the Shift Manager to identify ongoing improvements in work processes.
- Provide consistent feedback on individual and team performance, recognizing achievements and development areas.
- Assist in managing attendance, addressing absences, and ensuring adequate shift coverage.
- Contribute actively to the management team with ideas for efficiency, quality, and teamwork improvements.
Compensation
Night premium: £2,000 per annum
