Responsibilities
- Oversee team attendance, performance, productivity, and accuracy, encouraging staff to consistently meet high standards.
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities and inspire the team to maintain strong operational efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts by implementing strategies that enhance warehouse performance over time.
- Manage shift staffing and workforce allocation to meet time-critical operational demands.
- Hold accountability for meeting key performance indicators across warehouse operations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all warehouse functions, including returns, inventory control, co-packing, delivery scheduling, and safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, clients, and internal departments to build and sustain productive relationships.
- Control labor expenses while ensuring uninterrupted workflow across warehouse functions.
- Promote health and safety standards, including safe use of materials handling equipment and individual accountability.
- Monitor employee performance to maximize output and address underperformance through appropriate actions.
- Proactively handle disciplinary issues, ensuring adherence to established procedures at all times.
- Manage employee sickness and absenteeism effectively, supporting workforce stability and minimizing downtime.
