Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Warehouse Operator to be an integral part of our team’s success. In this role, you will operate machinery to move materials for shipping, processing, and receiving, performing essential tasks that keep our operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Catalog, record, and organize materials received at the warehouse.
- Arrange materials for order assembly and fulfill worksheets by reading production schedules and order forms.
- Locate, gather, move, and distribute products to production workers, assembly lines, or shipping areas.
- Assemble, build, wrap, sort, and transport customer orders.
- Operate hand trucks, carts, dollies, forklifts, order-pickers, and walkies to transport items.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Basic keypunch skills.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
- Must have a high sense of urgency.
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
Nice to Have
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $16.50 - $23.00 per hour.
- For employees working 30 or more hours per week on average: health insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k) contributions, and paid time off.
