About the Role

The Warehouse Manager will lead staff, inventory strategy, and standard operating procedures for production operations at the Quincy site. This role ensures efficient warehouse performance by managing material flow, improving processes, and working with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

  • Create and execute strategies, policies, and procedures for material management
  • Recruit and train personnel to oversee material handling according to company standards
  • Design workflows that enhance speed, reduce waste, and improve overall materials management efficiency
  • Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team through coaching, training, and performance evaluations to promote excellence and ongoing improvement
  • Implement comprehensive material management practices such as FIFO compliance, variance tracking, cycle time reduction, scrap control, inventory counts, and audits to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock
  • Establish and refine key performance indicators for materials operations
  • Work with procurement, production planning, engineering, logistics, and quality teams to support demand forecasting, procurement planning, and alignment of material supply with production timelines
  • Analyze material consumption patterns, identify areas for improvement, and apply lean methodologies to enhance handling, storage, and distribution processes
  • Use ERP and warehouse management systems to monitor inventory, produce reports, and deliver data-backed insights for decision-making and process optimization
  • Ensure all material handling activities comply with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements

The company is deploying next-generation Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) designed for demanding seabed exploration missions. It has introduced a unique, ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth platform, along with a reimagined maritime vehicle architecture and scalable manufacturing system that supports vehicle sizes from large to extra-large. Current efforts include fulfilling multi-million-dollar contracts and delivering Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations.

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our expanding team in Quincy, MA. The Warehousing Team oversees full-cycle material management, from planning to deployment of advanced hardware for customers. This position will lead warehouse personnel, inventory planning, and key SOPs supporting production at the Quincy facility. The role involves overseeing daily warehouse functions, streamlining operations, and coordinating with other departments. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication abilities, a proactive mindset for identifying challenges and implementing solutions, and the ability to assess outcomes effectively.
