Responsibilities
- Inspect and confirm incoming materials, tools, and equipment match purchase orders and delivery documents
- Coordinate the arrival and movement of materials to job sites and work zones
- Prepare and position materials in assigned laydown areas according to project timelines
- Report delivery delays, missing items, damages, or inconsistencies to management
- Track and manage on-site inventory levels, including usage, shortages, and reorder needs
- Label, sort, and safeguard materials to minimize loss, damage, or misplacement
- Facilitate the transfer of materials between project locations, storage units, or warehouses
- Support regular inventory audits and assist in reconciling material records
- Keep storage zones, containers, and laydown areas clean, orderly, and hazard-free
- Uphold housekeeping expectations in alignment with company, client, and safety guidelines
- Remove waste, packaging, and excess materials to maintain efficient workspaces
- Collaborate with supervisors, foremen, and field teams to forecast upcoming material demands
- Deliver frequent updates on material status and inventory levels to project leads
- Adhere to all safety protocols, site-specific regulations, and quality benchmarks
