As a Warehouse Assistant in Tehachapi, you’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth daily operations by managing inventory, preparing orders, and ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes. You’ll work hands-on with incoming and outgoing materials, using warehouse equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining precise records.
What You'll Do
- Inspect and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies and organizing items for storage
- Prepare customer orders by locating, picking, packing, and labeling products accurately
- Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries, managing all required shipping documentation
- Use inventory management systems to track stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and update records
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move goods safely
- Maintain warehouse organization by restocking, labeling, and cleaning storage areas
- Process returns and cancellations efficiently to support customer satisfaction
- Perform pre- and post-operation checks on equipment and company vehicles
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a secure, compliant work environment
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible for employment in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Valid driver’s license with successful DMV verification
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy materials as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer applications
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus

Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Tehachapi, CA. Employees are expected to report to the warehouse regularly, with occasional travel to other company locations as needed.
