Axos Bank is seeking a VP, Sr. Asset Manager to provide senior-level support for Verdant Commercial Capital's industrial equipment finance activities. You will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing residual risk, establishing collateral values, and managing the end-of-lease lifecycle to optimize financial outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Establish and forecast collateral and residual values for equipment lease transactions.
- Research and analyze technological trends affecting residual exposure.
- Work with the Sales Team to understand customer needs through conversations, data mining, and industry publications.
- Research and evaluate new target markets and equipment types for Verdant Commercial Capital to pursue.
- Manage sales, renewals, and early terminations of equipment under lease.
- Remarket off-lease and repossessed equipment into the secondary market.
- Work to maximize gains on sale of equipment.
- Conduct residual and collateral research and analysis on potential equipment lease transactions, evaluate future value and risk, make recommendations, and prepare written analyses.
- Assist in developing residual matrices, policies, and controls for vendor-based programs.
- Develop and manage remarketing channels for all equipment types.
- Provide effective remarketing to assure maximum proceeds from equipment disposition.
- Complete other asset management-related projects as necessary.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum five years of specific experience in the vendor finance area.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle a wide diversity of tasks on a daily basis.
- An independent self-starter with a proactive approach who will not require extensive supervision.
Nice to Have
- Experience with a top leasing company, bank, or financial institution.

You will support Verdant Commercial Capital and work closely with the Sales Team.

- Compensation: $145,000.00/Yr. - $180,000.00/Yr.
