What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end product development, guiding ideas from initial concept through launch and ongoing optimization. Use data analytics and market research to define KPIs, assess product performance, and inform strategic decisions. Balance customer needs with business objectives to prioritize features and shape product direction.
Collaborate closely with executives and teams across engineering, marketing, and development to ensure alignment on goals and execution. Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities across departments, offering actionable solutions when challenges emerge. Manage product budgets and develop strategies that support revenue growth and long-term profitability.
Stay ahead of industry shifts by analyzing market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging opportunities. Represent the company at conferences and in public forums, contributing thought leadership to strengthen market presence. Build and mentor high-performing product teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years in product management, with a proven record of launching and scaling customer-focused products
- 5+ years of experience in the large group insurance or self-funded employer market
- 5+ years leading and developing product teams, with demonstrated leadership at scale
- Strong understanding of user experience, competitive analysis, and market dynamics
- Experience building short- and long-term roadmaps tailored to the ASO market
- Ability to clearly convey product vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, product development lifecycles, and product management tools
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in stop loss insurance and captive program design
- Experience with fully insured models or provider reinsurance
- Knowledge of clinical care models, primary care delivery, or virtual care platforms
- Familiarity with EMR systems or health plan operations
