Our Home is looking for a VP of Procurement to join our leadership team. You will drive the strategic vision and operational excellence for all procurement and supply chain functions, ensuring we have the right products at the right time while optimizing costs.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy focused on cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
- Establish metrics for supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in processes and relationships.
- Collaborate with R&D and marketing to align procurement with product development and promotional strategies.
- Direct the raw material inventory management process to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor market trends and manage commodity risks to mitigate price volatility.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the procurement team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and best practices related to sourcing, purchasing, and financial controls.
- Report to the CEO on procurement metrics, strategic initiatives, and overall supply chain performance.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in a CPG environment, specifically in food or beverage industries.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory control principles.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing cost-saving initiatives and driving process improvements.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 15%).
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Team & Environment
You will oversee a team dedicated to sourcing high-quality ingredients and materials and report directly to the CEO.
