Toma is seeking a VP of OEM Relations to be our strategic face to automakers. You will steer high-level strategy, secure co-op funding and program inclusion, and turn national initiatives into a scalable growth engine.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a 3-year roadmap targeting high-impact OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to secure program inclusion, co-op funding, and preferred-vendor status.
- Serve as the executive point of contact across OEM relationships, guiding initiatives from pilot to national launch while translating partner needs into product, data, and reporting deliverables.
- Manage OEM-sourced pipeline, forecasting, and P&L; design commercial models that align incentives and accelerate dealer adoption.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to localize voice AI solutions and co-develop launch assets tailored to each OEM ecosystem.
- Represent Toma at major automotive events and OEM forums; deliver thought leadership on voice AI and fixed-ops innovation.
- Recruit, mentor, and scale a top-tier OEM partnerships team with a culture rooted in data-driven execution and dealer-first thinking.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in the automotive ecosystem, with a focus on OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or dealership technology platforms.
- Minimum 5 years managing OEM programs, co-op funding structures, or certified vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to launch or scale technology or fixed-ops solutions via OEM, Shift Digital, or Tier-10 channels, consistently exceeding revenue and adoption targets.
- Proven experience negotiating complex, multi-year commercial agreements including data security, compliance, and incentive models.
- Strong ability to communicate AI, telephony, and integration capabilities in OEM-compliant language; capable of navigating technical conversations across engineering and partner teams.
- Built and led cross-functional teams; brings executive presence with both C-level and field-level stakeholders.
- Proficient in CRM and BI tools to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, track KPIs, and optimize program performance.
- Willing to travel 30–40% for partner meetings, dealer councils, and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Nice to Have
- Experience working directly with or through platforms like CDK, Reynolds, Xtime, Shift Digital, or Tier-10.
- Deep understanding of OEM dealer incentive structures, after-sales service operations, and digital vendor certification processes.
- Strong industry network and a history of participating in fixed-ops forums, OEM summits, or certification review boards.
- MBA or similar advanced degree strongly preferred.
