About the Role

ClarityPay is hiring a VP of New Business Development - Health & Wellness to lead our expansion into the provider market. You will be responsible for sourcing and developing new partnerships for our point-of-sale credit solutions within the Elective Health & Wellness segment. This role is crucial for our growth and requires a seasoned business development leader with a proven record of closing deals with medium to large providers.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and drive a business development plan for target accounts in Health & Wellness.
  • Identify, prioritize, and qualify target prospects through research.
  • Source, negotiate, and close new provider partnerships.
  • Develop partnerships with platforms and other players to expand our reach.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop proposal pricing and terms based on market insights.
  • Craft tailored proposals and pitch strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to onboard and launch new clients.
  • Support the Client Success team to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Positively represent ClarityPay at conferences and in the market.
  • Update and maintain all records in the sales management system.
  • Adhere to defined processes and policies for completing work.

What We're Looking For

  • Energetic, positive, collaborative, solution-oriented, and goal-focused.
  • Deep understanding of provider needs in the Elective Health & Wellness segment and a passion for helping them and their patients.
  • 6+ years of experience selling to providers.
  • Strong existing network of provider relationships at the leadership level and a track record of acquiring new relationships in relevant verticals.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience negotiating agreements, pricing, and terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in early-stage environments, help shape strategy and product, collaborate well with others, and focus on solutions.
  • Able to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Comfortable using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Nice to Have

  • At least 2 years of experience in POS financing, PLCC/Co-brand cards, or BNPL.
  • Financial acumen and knowledge of lending and its key levers.

You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid role with location options: Remote, NYC, or Atlanta.
