Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a VP, Accounting & Finance to shape financial strategy and operations for our dynamic, global organization. In this senior leadership role, you will act as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, overseeing comprehensive accounting and financial planning to ensure accuracy, compliance, and insightful reporting.
What You'll Do
- Lead global accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Direct financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO and CEO, providing actionable financial insights to guide decision-making and improve business performance.
- Oversee governance and compliance programs, including SOX, tax, treasury, audits, and internal controls.
- Lead financial due diligence, modeling, and post-acquisition integration efforts in support of corporate mergers and acquisitions.
- Drive process standardization, system optimization, and modernization initiatives across finance functions.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global finance team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of progressive experience in finance.
- At least 5 years in executive leadership roles.
- Proven track record managing senior finance leaders across global accounting, FP&A, and related functions.
- Experience in US multinational corporations with deep knowledge of enterprise financial systems and analytics tools.
- Strong strategic mindset coupled with operational focus and exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated success in M&A activities and financial transformation projects.
- Proactive leadership style with excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Nice to Have
- CPA certification.
- Public accounting experience.
- ERP system implementation expertise.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and/or Domo platforms.

Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range: $230,000 to $315,000.
