About the Role
The developer will design, build, and maintain Vlocity-based applications, ensuring integration with Salesforce ecosystems and delivering robust technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Vlocity applications within Salesforce environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Implement integration workflows between Vlocity and external systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and testing environments
- Write clean, maintainable code following software development best practices
- Participate in agile development cycles including planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support data migration and transformation activities
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards
- Document technical designs and system configurations
- Provide post-deployment support and system enhancements
- Optimize Vlocity CPQ and community implementations
- Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Conduct unit testing and support QA processes
- Stay current with Vlocity platform updates and new features
- Assist in technical onboarding for team members
- Maintain version control and deployment pipelines
- Support user acceptance testing and coordinate feedback
- Design APIs for integration with third-party services
- Follow change management protocols for system updates
- Evaluate technical feasibility of proposed solutions
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies
- Collaborate on solution architecture discussions
- Assist in performance tuning and system monitoring
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
- Support disaster recovery and backup procedures
