Allegheny Health Network is seeking a meticulous and proactive individual to manage comprehensive financial operations for an Australian construction and property development business. You will provide end-to-end bookkeeping, project cost tracking, and weekly cashflow reporting, working directly with the CEO and CFO to ensure real-time, accurate financial data.
What You'll Do
- Maintain accurate financial records in Xero, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Receive invoices via a dedicated email, enter them immediately, and organize them by project.
- Process receipts, payments, reimbursements, and loan payments.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements weekly.
- Assist with payroll preparation, expense management, and prepare client invoices as needed.
- Maintain organized digital filing of all financial documents.
- Track and update weekly cashflow: cash in, cash out, upcoming liabilities, and loan repayments.
- Maintain live budgets for every project and track all spending per project, comparing actual vs budget.
- Record every cost item against the correct project code.
- Provide weekly summaries showing total spent, total committed, remaining budget, and forecasted cost to complete, flagging discrepancies.
- Support preparation of project cost reports and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.
- Compile cashflow reports for the CEO/CFO with clear explanations for variances.
- Support internal and external audit requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reduce the CFO’s administrative load by providing real-time financial updates and responding quickly to requests.
- Complete tasks outside standard hours if urgently required.

- Strong Xero experience is mandatory.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Australian bookkeeping.
- Understanding of payroll systems.
- Familiarity with AASB or Australian taxation.
- Experience in GAAP is acceptable if no AASB background.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $1,500-$2,500 AUD per month.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid remote position for candidates located in the Philippines. You will be expected to work Sydney business hours.
