Responsibilities
- Design and implement challenging math lessons that align with TEKS standards
- Foster deep understanding of mathematical ideas and computational accuracy
- Support students in developing logical thinking and effective problem-solving techniques
- Offer organized practice and straightforward explanations of mathematical processes
- Evaluate student progress using quizzes, tests, and assessments based on real-world problems
- Deliver prompt feedback and targeted academic assistance to learners
- Sustain consistent communication with families about student performance and growth
- Engage in collaborative faculty efforts and professional learning tied to the school's educational mission
- Utilize digital teaching platforms efficiently in an online learning environment
Other
Occasional travel and in-person attendance are required several times per year to support state-mandated testing and student events.
