Responsibilities
- Design and implement challenging history lessons that meet TEKS standards
- Deliver historical content through storytelling, original source materials, and interactive dialogue
- Support students in critically evaluating historical writings and documents
- Lead conversations exploring historical concepts, government theory, and civic structures
- Evaluate student understanding using written assignments, source interpretation, creative projects, and tests
- Offer constructive, in-depth feedback on students' historical writing
- Sustain consistent, clear communication with learners and their families
- Collaborate with teaching staff on curriculum design and academic planning
- Leverage digital tools to enhance traditional history education in an online setting
Work Arrangement
Remote with required in-person attendance several times per year
