EVERSANA is hiring a Virtual Field Representative who will be responsible for the commercialization of Vertex Pharmaceuticals therapies via teleconference and telephone. You will provide impactful clinical information and educational materials to selected healthcare providers in a remote capacity.
What You'll Do
- Complete assigned disease state and product training within required timeframes.
- Deliver review committee approved, education-focused messages and disease-state information to selected healthcare providers.
- Partner with existing Vertex employees to build and execute business plans.
- Enhance healthcare provider awareness of Vertex Pharmaceuticals products and clinical data.
- Equip healthcare providers with appropriate tools to facilitate robust clinical conversations.
- Build healthcare provider trust, knowledge, and confidence in identifying possible treatment gaps.
- Increase awareness of the assigned therapeutic area and empower providers to identify treatment gaps.
- Achieve call activity and adherence goals, as well as brand performance objectives.
- Ensure sample and literature requests are generated accurately and perform appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain database entries on targeted customer calls including attempts, product discussions, literature requests, and sample requests.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to team leadership on areas and opportunities for improvement.
- Comply with all company, PDMA, compliance, and regulatory policies and guidelines.
- Work independently from a remote home office.
- Cultivate an assigned virtual territory and be accountable for measurable results.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2+ years of sales experience in an outbound virtual/tele-sales or field sales role, preferably with a healthcare or pharma emphasis.
- Strong sales aptitude in highly competitive markets, documented sales results, and a rich understanding of the total office call.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn new software as needed.
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
- Ability to learn complex medical topics, adhere to established compliance guidelines, patient assistance programs, pharmacy, and insurance/market access landscapes.
- Aptitude and confidence to converse with physicians and all levels of medical office staff.
- Stable internet connection adequate to support voice over VoIP calls and virtual call platforms.
