As a Virtual Event Host, you’ll play a key role in delivering meaningful virtual experiences that connect corporate participants with social impact initiatives. Conducted entirely over Zoom, these sessions range from team-building activities to wellness and volunteering events, all designed to foster connection and community engagement.
What You'll Do
- Host live virtual events in French and English, guiding participants through interactive and purpose-driven activities
- Create an inclusive, upbeat atmosphere that encourages participation and connection
- Manage Zoom logistics in real time—handling breakout rooms, monitoring the waiting room, sharing links, and capturing key moments
- Collaborate closely with nonprofit facilitators to support a seamless event flow
- Respond quickly and calmly to technical or logistical challenges during live sessions
Requirements
- Professional experience in performance, such as acting, improv, or comedy, with a natural ability to engage audiences
- Proven skill in facilitating group interactions and managing group dynamics
- Fluent in both French and English
- Based in the EMEA region with reliable high-speed internet and a webcam-enabled device
- Comfortable speaking publicly with confidence and warmth
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt under pressure
- Flexible availability to accommodate events across different time zones
