Responsibilities
- Act as the official instructor and primary educator across all core subjects and grade levels
- Consistently strive to achieve targets in student performance, school culture, and state-mandated academic standards
- Conduct dynamic live instruction through web conferencing, tailored to student needs and grounded in proven teaching methods
- Set up and configure each course within the online learning platform
- Monitor student activity in self-paced courses and provide daily feedback and grading
- Maintain regular contact and track engagement for every student
- Work with school leadership to develop and issue student progress reports
- Analyze individual student data regularly to adapt and improve teaching strategies
- Adjust instructional approaches to support diverse learning needs
- Apply evidence-based teaching techniques in both live and independent learning environments
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Incorporate culturally relevant practices in daily instruction and interactions with students, families, and staff
- Uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural standards both inside and outside the classroom
- Maintain consistent communication with families about academic and emotional development
- Integrate modern digital literacy skills into daily instruction and team collaboration
- Assist in organizing and attending in-person events such as field trips and social gatherings
- Communicate and collaborate professionally, respectfully, and with humility across teams
- Travel annually to support state-mandated in-person assessments
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership

Hybrid — Arizona, Wyoming
Other
- Periodic in-person attendance is required each year for state testing and student-facing events
- Applicants must be residents of Arizona or Wyoming
