Responsibilities
- Act as the official instructor and primary educator for elementary-level students
- Consistently strive to achieve targets in academic performance, student culture, and state-mandated education standards
- Conduct live, interactive online lessons tailored to student needs using evidence-based teaching methods
- Set up and organize all assigned courses within the digital learning platform
- Monitor asynchronous course progress and provide daily feedback and grading
- Maintain consistent tracking and communication with each enrolled student
- Work with school leadership to develop and distribute student progress reports
- Regularly analyze individual student data to guide changes in teaching strategies
- Adapt instruction to support diverse learning needs and abilities
- Apply proven, research-backed techniques in both live and self-paced learning environments
- Foster a positive, supportive, and nurturing virtual classroom atmosphere
- Incorporate culturally aware and inclusive practices in all lessons and interactions
- Uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations in all settings
- Maintain regular contact with families about their child's academic and emotional development
- Integrate modern technology skills into daily instruction and team collaboration
- Help plan and attend in-person school events, including field trips and social gatherings
- Communicate and cooperate respectfully and effectively with fellow educators and staff
- Travel annually to support state-required in-person assessments
- Complete additional tasks as necessary

- Travel and in-person attendance are required multiple times per year for state testing and student activities
