Kraken is hiring a VIP Relationship Manager

About the Role

Kraken is looking for a VIP Relationship Manager to manage and grow our network of high-net-worth private clients. You'll be pivotal in delivering a premium experience, scaling the VIP program, and leveraging data to increase client activity and assets on the platform, rooted in Kraken's crypto-first mission.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality service to HNWI clients worldwide, building and nurturing trusted relationships.
  • Drive KPIs across revenue, trading volume, and assets on platform through data-driven analysis and proactive strategy execution.
  • Bring Kraken’s private client and VIP offerings to market to ensure competitive and impactful benefits.
  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for Kraken’s top private clients, building deep relationships.
  • Execute programs and initiatives that increase client activity, trading, and assets on platform.
  • Leverage blockchain analytics, trading data, and client insights to inform revenue-generating efforts.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and client service teams to champion new efforts for private client growth and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in relationship management, account management, or private client sales.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the crypto space, with a track record of working with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Deep understanding of trading product solutions, including spot, margin, futures, OTC trading, and lending.
  • Highly data-driven, with expertise in analyzing KPIs such as client portfolio revenue, trading volume, and assets on platform.
  • Deep knowledge of cryptocurrency ecosystems—players, frameworks, and market dynamics beyond blue-chip tokens.
  • Fully aligned with the cypherpunk values outlined in Kraken’s Tentaclements.
  • Passionate about cryptocurrency, with a proactive attitude toward learning new industry trends.
  • Skilled at building meaningful partnerships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to visit clients and attend events.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Nice to Have

  • Strong personal network within the crypto industry, particularly across HNWI.
  • Native-like proficiency in one or more additional languages such as French, German, Dutch, Mandarin, or Arabic.

You will be part of the Growth team's Private Client Relationship Management team.

This is a remote position open to Krakenites in 70+ countries.
