Rocky Mountain ATV is looking for a Video Editor to join its Brands Department. In this role, you will create informative and polished video content for our YouTube channel and company website, taking projects from initial concept through scripting, recording, and final edit.
What You'll Do
- Script, record, and edit film clips to be informative, concise, and invisible to the audience
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to create a polished final video
- Create rough versions for review and final cuts for publishing to YouTube and embedding on the website
- Ensure logical sequencing and accurate information and claims throughout all content
- Consult and understand needs and specifications from stakeholders throughout the production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies, workflows, and industry best practices to maximize efficiency
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with others, committing to a workplace of teamwork, respect, and integrity
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Proven working experience in camera operation, filming, and video editing (a demo reel/portfolio is required)
- Solid foundation with editing software programs such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut
- Basic working experience in various other software, including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize daily work efficiently
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
- Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
- A knack for recognizing opportunities to gather extra clips that can improve video quality
- Ability to multitask while filming to monitor information presented by talent and provide feedback and suggestions
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions and numerical specifications, with a willingness to learn more advanced processes
- Availability to work scheduled shift hours
- A collaborative team player who is willing to work with others and independently
- A strong work ethic focused on commitment, pride of work, quality, desire to learn, and dependability

- Being actively involved in the off-road industry is a big plus and can lead to more growth and opportunity in the position
