Builders Capital Exchange is hiring a Vice President National Sales Manager to serve as both a sales leader and business development professional. You will lead a team dedicated to sourcing business from Real Estate Investors, TPO Brokers, and Referral partners, while maintaining and growing existing relationships.
What You'll Do
- Hire, lead, and mentor a team of 3-7 sales professionals, including Regional Market Managers.
- Maintain and grow existing productive business relationships.
- Lead the team to source business from Real Estate Investors, TPO Brokers, and Referral partners within defined market areas.
- Execute internal sales processes, including originating, negotiating, and coordinating with operations to close loans.
- Collaborate with fulfillment teams to ensure loan origination quality and an exceptional customer experience.
- Personally source and submit a minimum of $4M in Business Purpose loans per month and fund a minimum of $3M per month.
- Lead your team to source and submit a minimum of $4M in Business Purpose loans per month and fund a minimum of $3M per month.
- Assess, coach, and mentor direct sales reports to ensure they meet sales and origination expectations.
- Submit complete applications that meet all program requirements.
- Understand the real estate investment market and communicate how our product suite can help clients.
- Educate business partners, referral sources, brokers, and investors on our value proposition.
- Master comprehensive knowledge of products and guidelines.
- Prospect using established relationships, host webinars and meetups, and participate in regional industry networking.
- Participate and speak at industry events.
- Focus time on prospecting, driving new business, and managing a loan pipeline with strong closing conversion ratios.
- Remain current on changes within legal, regulatory, economic, competitive, and technology environments.
What We're Looking For
- In-depth knowledge of entity lending, business purpose loan products, processes, and required documentation.
- 3-5 years of proven, successful mortgage sales experience with a verifiable customer base; experience with forward mortgages, fix-and-flip, bridge, new construction, and/or DSCR rental loans.
- For personal production, an existing book of business or extensive network of contacts among real estate investors, mortgage brokers, or referral partners.
- Must be a self-starter, competitive, driven for results, and committed to building lasting relationships and growing business monthly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to creatively source and develop new business.
- Strong multitasking abilities with outstanding time management skills.
- Open to learning new technology systems and working in a paperless environment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Must take initiative and focus on the achievement of position and company objectives.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- National or Regional Sales Management experience.
- NMLS license.
