Elementl Power Inc. is hiring a Vice President, Marketing & Communications

About the Role

Elementl Power is seeking a Vice President of Marketing & Communications to architect and scale the marketing function for our next phase of growth. You will shape the long-term strategy, build the operational foundation, and lead brand, content, communications, digital marketing, and event marketing for an advanced nuclear project development company.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute Elementl’s marketing and communications strategy, aligning with commercial objectives and the project development roadmap.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CCO and executive team on market positioning, audience engagement, and competitive trends.
  • Build and lead the marketing organization, including hiring, coaching, resourcing, and managing the budget.
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate performance, optimize resource allocation, and refine strategy to improve ROI.
  • Conduct market research to inform positioning, messaging, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to create a strong, recognizable presence.
  • Ensure consistency across all internal and external communications, marketing collateral, and storytelling.
  • Oversee creation of high-impact content, including thought leadership, case studies, blog posts, web copy, presentations, and executive communications.
  • Manage media relations, press releases, and corporate communications; serve as company spokesperson as needed.
  • Support external narrative-building around key milestones such as customer engagements, project siting, and community outreach.
  • Oversee internal communications in partnership with HR to reinforce culture, engagement, and clarity.
  • Lead digital marketing strategy across SEO/SEM, paid media, social media, email, and retargeting campaigns.
  • Oversee Elementl’s web strategy and presence, including UX improvements, content updates, and technology integrations.
  • Drive data-driven campaigns and use analytics to inform decision-making, optimize targeting, and improve conversion.
  • Champion tools, systems, and best practices to scale digital capabilities across the team.
  • Develop and lead Elementl’s event and conference strategy to strengthen brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Prioritize high-impact conferences and partnerships, securing strategic sponsorships and speaking opportunities.
  • Oversee end-to-end event execution and engagement, ensuring alignment with commercial and marketing goals.
  • Track performance and ROI to continually refine event strategy and impact.
  • Build and manage a bench of subject matter experts to represent Elementl across industry and policy forums.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of marketing and communications experience.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role where you have built and led a marketing function.
  • Deep experience operating in complex, technical, or highly regulated industries, ideally within energy project development.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing strategies for long-cycle, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Experience positioning technical or infrastructure companies, translating complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Experience in high-credibility external communications targeting media, conferences, and government audiences.
  • Data-driven, with hands-on experience in digital marketing and web strategy, including SEO/SEM, paid media, social media, analytics, and UX for B2B and technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-stakeholder energy environments, partnering seamlessly with engineering, licensing, regulatory, development, and operations teams.
  • Experience leading event and conference strategies that elevate visibility and support community engagement and project development.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in advanced nuclear or adjacent technologies.
  • Experience in advanced nuclear, utility-scale energy, or major infrastructure.

Team & Environment

This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.

  • Compensation range: $165,000-$210,000.
