First Momentum Ventures is looking for a Venture Scout to be our eyes and ears in startup ecosystems across Europe. In this remote role, you will identify promising founders and startups, represent the fund at events, and build a bridge between your local scene and our venture capital team.
What You'll Do
- Act as First Momentum’s local presence, identifying exciting founders and startups in your regional startup scene.
- Represent the fund at events, hackathons, and conferences, making technical founders aware of our focus.
- Build and maintain relationships with key local stakeholders, acting as a bridge to the fund.
- Share your domain knowledge when assessing startups in our deal-flow process.
What We're Looking For
- A strong interest in the venture capital and startup world.
- Knowledge of your local startup ecosystem and its important players.
- Close connection to a university in your city as a student or research assistant.
- A passion for a specific area of deep tech or for B2B business models in general.
- The ability to work independently and tackle challenging tasks.
