Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum trucks and associated equipment for industrial and tank cleaning, spill response, and material extraction.
- Set up, run, and dismantle hoses, pumps, and tools required for each task.
- Safely load, transport, and unload solid and liquid waste in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental standards.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any mechanical issues or maintenance concerns.
- Keep accurate records, including logs, manifests, and service reports.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist team members during field operations such as confined space entry, high-pressure washing, and site decontamination.
- Ensure vehicles, tools, and work zones remain clean and ready for use.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and safety meetings.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
