Spotlight Sports Group is hiring a US Sport Social Specialist (12 Month FTC) to grow the Pickswise brand and its affiliated content verticals. You will produce engaging, platform-native sports betting content for U.S. audiences, building and managing a consistent social presence for one of our creator-driven properties.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day content creation across social platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) with a primary focus on NFL and other major U.S. sports.
- Build and maintain a consistent voice and identity for one of Pickswise’s emerging social-led content brands.
- Write copy, build posts, and collaborate with design and video teams on visuals and creative assets.
- React to live sports and betting trends with timely content that drives engagement.
- Schedule, monitor, and optimise content.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, design, and analytics to ensure cohesion and growth.
- Report on content performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Stay up to date on platform trends, betting news, and relevant cultural moments in the U.S. sports world.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in digital content or social media within sports media or the U.S. regulated betting space.
- Strong understanding of American sports (especially NFL) and sports betting.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, clear, and engaging copy for social platforms.
- Strong grasp of social platform best practices, trends, and analytics.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

- Experience helping grow a personality-led social channel or sports media brand.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role. For candidates in London, it requires 3 days a week in the office. The role is also open to candidates working remotely from the US.
