Responsibilities
- Contact patients promptly to communicate test outcomes in a professional manner
- Generate and manage referral requests to specialized medical professionals
- Arrange lab tests and imaging procedures, including scheduling and coordination of patient appointments
- Manage and keep electronic medical records current, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Follow healthcare regulations strictly, including maintaining HIPAA standards and patient privacy
- Utilize communication platforms such as Avaya soft phone for interactions with patients and providers
- Perform additional duties as assigned to assist the healthcare team
