About the Role

The Senior Travel Consultant will oversee the planning and execution of intricate business travel itineraries, ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of the Global Distribution System and the ability to handle high-volume, high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex business travel arrangements for corporate clients.
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients regarding travel options and logistics.
  • Utilize the Global Distribution System to book and manage travel itineraries.
  • Handle high-volume, high-pressure situations with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best travel options.
  • Monitor and manage travel budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Resolve travel-related issues and emergencies promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of travel arrangements and client preferences.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business travel management.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of travel policies and procedures.
