About the Role
The Senior Travel Consultant will oversee the planning and execution of intricate business travel itineraries, ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of the Global Distribution System and the ability to handle high-volume, high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex business travel arrangements for corporate clients.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients regarding travel options and logistics.
- Utilize the Global Distribution System to book and manage travel itineraries.
- Handle high-volume, high-pressure situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure client satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best travel options.
- Monitor and manage travel budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Resolve travel-related issues and emergencies promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of travel arrangements and client preferences.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business travel management.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices.
- Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
