Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of seven years of experience in employee benefits underwriting, financial analysis, or a related function within a brokerage or consulting environment
- Proven background in underwriting fully insured and self-funded benefit plans
- Current Life and Health insurance license in good standing, or ability to secure one within a specified period
- Valid driver’s license necessary for travel to clients and carriers
Nice to Have
- Experience working with mid-sized to large organizations operating across multiple states
- Prior experience guiding or supervising junior underwriting or analytical team members

Required

- Demonstrated experience underwriting both fully insured and self-funded benefit programs
- Active State Life and Health insurance license required (or ability to obtain within an agreed-upon timeframe)
- Valid driver’s license required (for client and carrier travel)
Preferred
- Experience supporting mid-sized to large, multi-state clients
- Prior experience mentoring or leading junior underwriting or analytical staff
