Solventum is hiring an Upstream Strategic Marketing Associate Manager to play a key role in shaping product and portfolio strategy for our Advanced Wound Care franchise. This position leverages market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and uncover new growth avenues.
What You'll Do
- Track macro trends in healthcare and the MedTech sector to understand potential impacts on portfolio priorities.
- Develop and maintain competitive intelligence frameworks and dashboards to assist with product positioning and identify portfolio gaps.
- Support market selection, prioritization, and assessment efforts led by Strategy & Business Development teams.
- Provide regular market and competitive updates to leadership and marketing teams.
- Create frameworks and dashboards to support portfolio prioritization and optimization.
- Develop fact-based analyses and materials for strategic planning discussions and business reviews.
- Lead small- to medium-sized strategic projects from design through execution.
- Support initial evaluations of potential acquisition or partnership targets.
- Deliver insights clearly and structured for inclusion in executive-level presentations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant business experience in areas such as business analysis, market research, corporate strategy, or consulting.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree such as an MBA, or in Economics or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to strategy development, M&A diligence, or portfolio management.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in project management and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to distill complexity into clear recommendations.
