Responsibilities
- Install and configure solutions within the pre-production environment using previously validated engineered designs.
- Perform implementation tasks during standard business hours, with occasional after-hours work depending on application impact.
- Create detailed deployment guides for offshore colleagues to execute in production during scheduled overnight maintenance periods.
- Support testing efforts in the pre-production environment by diagnosing and resolving issues that arise during validation.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of system infrastructure and environments to define clear transition procedures from pre-production to live deployment.
Work Arrangement
On-site — Roseland, NJ
Responsibilities
- Deploy solutions in the iAT (pre-production environment) using the engineered solution that was tested in a QA environment.
- Complete work typically during the day, but may include evening work based on the service impact to applications.
- Write instructions for the offshore (India) team to deploy to production during a night time maintenance window after iAT is tested/certified.
- Help troubleshoot the solution in iAT if testing runs into problems.
- Become familiar with infrastructure and environments to document how to move the solution from iAT to production.
