Beazley Management Limited is looking for an Underwriting Assistant to provide essential support to our underwriting team. You will be responsible for maintaining efficient underwriting processes and delivering high-quality service to clients and brokers.
What You'll Do
- Support Underwriters in delivering an effective and efficient administration service.
- Provide pre-underwriting and rating support to Underwriters and other staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry and scanning of risk documentation onto internal systems.
- Perform data verification, integrity, and accuracy checks.
- Handle photocopying, logging, scanning, filing, and archiving of quotes and declinatures.
- Interact with other internal teams, such as Claims, Finance, and Compliance, on matters related to the portfolio.
- Help maintain team standards by supporting other underwriting assistants.
- Provide accurate management information and produce ad hoc reports and presentations for senior staff.
- Deliver a professional service to brokers and external clients via all communication channels.
- Attend client meetings as required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience within property underwriting operations.
- Advanced Excel skills.

- Compensation: CAD 55,000-62,000 per year plus an attractive base compensation and discretionary performance-related bonus.
