HDI Group is looking for an Underwriter to manage complex industrial liability insurance portfolios. This role involves analyzing and underwriting national and international risks to develop customized solutions and maintain strong market relationships.

What You'll Do

Underwrite national and international risks within your granted authority.
Assess risks, calculate premiums, and prepare quotations.
Manage and steer national and international insurance programs.
Analyze, monitor, and steer your assigned portfolio.
Develop individual insurance solutions and coverage concepts.
Expand and maintain relationships with distribution partners and customers.
Conduct negotiations and annual discussions with partners and clients.
Implement underwriting strategy and execute portfolio measures.

What We're Looking For

A completed degree in insurance, economics, law, or engineering OR completed training as an insurance and financial services merchant with relevant further training.
Longstanding knowledge of the national and international industrial liability insurance market.
Organizational skills and an independent, self-responsible way of working.
High sales orientation paired with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Persuasiveness and a confident demeanor towards customers and partners.
Very good German and advanced English language skills.
Willingness to travel.
