Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of scans from basic to somewhat complex (abdomen, pelvic, small parts, pediatrics, musculoskeletal)
- Assist physicians in performing procedures, as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area
- Exercise your cultural competency in providing patient education
- Maintain a safe environment while identifying and reporting any safety concerns
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program
- ARDMS OB/GYN or Abdomen certification
- BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech
- Experience in a hospital setting
