About the Role

Aperture is hiring a UGC & Influencer Manager to build and scale our performance-driven creative engine. This role sits at the intersection of performance marketing, creator sourcing, AI avatar systems, and data-led testing. Your primary objective is to systematically produce, source, test, and scale high-performing short-form creative using both human creators and AI-native workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and recruit high-potential creators across TikTok, Instagram, and other short-form platforms. Build and maintain a structured creator database tagged by niche, tone, persona, and performance metrics.
  • Translate performance insights into clear creative briefs. Identify winning hook patterns and emerging trends to scale, ensuring creator output aligns with commercial KPIs.
  • Research, test, and deploy AI avatar platforms such as HeyGen, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, and Runway. Build hybrid workflows combining human hooks with AI bodies and AI script variations with human UGC.
  • Work with performance analysts to identify winning creative angles, kill underperforming patterns, and increase iteration velocity. Maintain a clear testing roadmap and systematically generate hook variations.
  • Ensure creative production never bottlenecks performance by creating SLAs and structured timelines for UGC turnaround. Monitor content fatigue and scaling thresholds.
  • Understand and interpret metrics such as CTR, Hook rate, Hold rate, Cost per trial, and Trial-to-paid.
  • Ensure creator claims comply with platform policies and manage brand safety in both AI-generated and human content.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing creators, UGC campaigns, or performance creative at scale.
  • Strong familiarity with short-form platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
  • Demonstrable experience working directly with performance marketing teams.
  • Active experimentation with AI avatar and synthetic video tools.
  • Deep pattern recognition in short-form content and a data-curious mindset focused on what converts.
  • Comfortable working with AI tools, experimenting frequently, and operating in fast-moving environments.
  • A systems thinker who builds repeatable processes and a clear communicator who bridges creative and performance.
  • No emotional attachment to 'human-only' or 'AI-only' approaches.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in subscription apps or other performance-led marketing environments is a strong plus.
