New Era Technology is seeking a UC Senior Implementation Engineer to plan, implement, and provide escalation support for cloud and on-premises systems in our client environments. You will work closely with project managers, solution architects, and stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of hardware, software, and network solutions.
What You'll Do
- Configure and deploy Cisco Webex Calling solutions, including Call Center Services.
- Attend pre-sales, sales, and post-sales strategy sessions, as well as internal and client support meetings.
- Participate in project status calls throughout the project lifecycle.
- Acclimate to client IT tools for documentation and remote access.
- Collaborate with clients to understand current topology and document new systems.
- Provision Webex Control Hub, RedSky for 911, and Recording Services.
- Upgrade CUCM endpoints for MPP migration and registration into Cisco Webex.
- Provide client administrator training for Webex Control Hub.
- Configure and deploy Microsoft Teams Direct Routing PSTN via SBC.
- Act as a Session Border Controller subject matter expert for AudioCodes and Ribbon.
- Configure SBCs using PowerShell cmdlets for Direct Routing.
- Manage Teams numbers, dial plans, call flows, media, and certificate services.
- Define Architectural Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Lead after-hours system cutovers and provide first-day and hyper-care support.
- Implement security protocols and policies to ensure compliance.
- Provide on-call support as needed to resolve critical system issues.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT system implementation or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and enterprise storage systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and enterprise tools like Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or SCCM.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, project coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Outstanding troubleshooting skills for Server, PC, Desktop, VM, and Client/Server issues.
- Broad-based knowledge of virtualization, hardware, operating systems, patching, backup, security protocols, and network fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all customer contacts, both verbally and in writing.
- Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in the core technical requirements and strong team collaboration skills.
- Language Skills: English.

- Compensation: $130,000 - $140,000 USD
