Design, deploy, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support reliable and secure operations. You'll work across AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud environments, ensuring alignment with established architecture standards while optimizing performance and availability.
What You'll Do
- Configure and manage cloud services across multiple platforms, supporting scalable and resilient infrastructure.
- Administer VMware virtualization environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and resolving performance issues.
- Support Dell server hardware through installation, configuration, firmware updates, and root-cause analysis.
- Participate in cloud migration initiatives and integration of hybrid systems.
- Apply security best practices to cloud and on-prem deployments, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Monitor system health and respond to alerts, minimizing downtime and improving reliability.
- Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripts to increase efficiency.
- Document system configurations, processes, and changes to maintain operational clarity.
- Partner with senior engineers to evaluate and implement new technologies and infrastructure enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of VMware technologies, including vSphere and ESXi.
- Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Experience managing Dell server hardware, including lifecycle and troubleshooting tasks.
- Familiarity with core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VLANs.
- Basic scripting ability using PowerShell or Bash for automation purposes.
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements in enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, VMware VCP, or Dell hardware credentials are considered advantageous.
