What You'll Do
Lead the design and deployment of enterprise-grade technical solutions after the sale, aligning customer business goals with proven architectural practices. Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand existing IT environments and identify opportunities for improvement using Veeam technologies.
Develop high-level and detailed solution designs, including comprehensive documentation such as architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and technical specifications. Establish and maintain reference models to ensure consistency across both direct and partner-led deployments. Provide technical oversight during implementation, supporting project teams and resolving complex challenges.
Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless transition from proposal to execution. Support proof-of-concept initiatives and lead technical workshops to validate designs. Advise partners on deployment best practices and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and scalability standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in solution architecture or technical leadership within enterprise IT environments
- Strong background in data protection, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity principles
- Hands-on experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in secure enterprise contexts
- Deep knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and enterprise storage systems
- Familiarity with networking, compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), and IT governance models
- Experience in post-sales consulting or professional services with direct customer engagement
- Ability to estimate effort, define scope, and collaborate with project managers and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills for engaging both technical teams and business leaders
- Willingness to travel globally, up to 50%, to support large-scale deployments
Preferred Qualifications
- Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell or Python
- Track record of managing large-scale infrastructure transformations
- Ability to work independently and drive technical innovation
- Enterprise architecture certification such as TOGAF
- Veeam VMCE or equivalent technical credential
- Cloud or security certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, VMware VCP)
