About the Role

Ubisoft is looking for an International Employment Lawyer to join our Legal Department. This role serves as a strategic business partner to our global Human Resources and Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility teams, providing expert and pragmatic legal counsel on a wide range of multicultural social law topics.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the implementation and support of group-wide HR projects, including compensation & benefits, intra-group mobility, recruitment procedures, and top management contract management.
  • Advise and support the management of international employee representation bodies and trade union organizations.
  • Collaborate daily with operational teams, Social Relations, Data Protection, Corporate Tax, and Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility on the employment law implications of innovative projects.
  • Support international corporate, transformation, and organizational evolution projects.
  • Advise and assist HR teams on the management of international litigation.
  • Contribute to working groups created around innovative projects.
  • Stay informed of changes in the legal and HR landscape within the video game industry and other disruptive sectors.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid knowledge of labor law.
  • Experience in similar roles within international contexts.
  • A legal education specializing in social/labor law.
  • Curiosity about foreign HR legislation and practices and international legal culture.
  • Leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels and across regions.
  • Precise legal analysis and excellent writing skills.
  • Extreme rigor, a positive mindset, intellectual creativity, adaptability, and the ability to resolve issues based on risk analysis.
  • Agility, proactivity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, demanding context.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Team & Environment

You will report to the Director Legal, International Employment and be part of Ubisoft's Legal Department. You'll be supported by and collaborate with the other lawyers on the team.
