Responsibilities
- Construct and solder low-voltage UAV components, including surface-mount devices
- Diagnose circuit board issues and replace faulty parts
- Repair and maintain UAV hardware at the component level
- Fabricate and install wiring harnesses for clean electrical connections
- Utilize diagnostic instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
- Operate and service FDM 3D printers, with minor CAD modifications as needed
- Develop and refine mechanical parts like mounts, brackets, and protective enclosures
- Perform accurate machining tasks including drilling, fitting, and trimming
- Install mechanical hardware with precision and attention to detail
- Support fast iteration cycles for UAV prototypes and resolve technical issues
- Keep tools, materials, and workshop supplies organized and accounted for
- Prepare UAV systems for integration and real-world testing environments
- Coordinate with remote technical and flight personnel in Europe for alignment
