About the Role

The role involves providing cost management services for data center construction, including cost planning, budget control, risk analysis, and financial reporting across project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver detailed cost estimates for data center builds at various project stages
  • Monitor project expenditures and compare against budget forecasts
  • Prepare cost reports for stakeholders and project teams
  • Identify cost risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support procurement processes with cost benchmarking and analysis
  • Collaborate with design teams to evaluate cost implications of design choices
  • Track and analyze changes in project scope affecting budget
  • Assist in developing baseline budgets and cash flow projections
  • Provide input during tender evaluations based on cost data
  • Maintain cost databases and historical project records
  • Work with contractors to validate cost submissions
  • Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize project spend
  • Support change management by assessing financial impact of variations
  • Ensure compliance with cost management procedures and standards
  • Coordinate with project managers on cost-related deliverables
  • Assist in final account reconciliations
  • Use cost management software to track and report financial data
