Responsibilities
- Establish guidelines governing user accounts, financial transactions, and API access
- Maintain adherence to international sanctions and legal regulations
- Adapt external provider rules into enforceable platform policies
- Create enforcement measures and manage user appeal processes
- Develop a risk assessment framework using aggregated behavioral signals
- Design a unified risk evaluation model with tiered response protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams on sanctions implementation, identity verification, and enforcement infrastructure
- Implement machine learning tools to detect fraudulent or abusive activity
- Conduct investigations and make enforcement determinations, including appeals handling
- Design operational workflows while actively managing their execution
- Leverage artificial intelligence to assist in case prioritization and decision-making
- Convert operational insights into automated, scalable systems
- Work closely with model providers to align policies and manage incident escalations
- Define enterprise-grade controls such as allowlists, policy configurations, and audit capabilities
- Coordinate with engineering, legal, and business teams to align strategy and execution
- Grow and structure the trust and safety function across policy, technology, and operations
- Implement monitoring systems, escalation protocols, and performance metrics
