Manage the daily movement of freight across the U.S. as a remote Truck Dispatcher, playing a key role in maintaining efficient and safe transportation operations. You will oversee a diverse fleet including dry vans, flatbeds, reefers, and straight box trucks, ensuring each load reaches its destination on schedule.
What You'll Do
- Plan and adjust routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance using dispatch and routing software.
- Stay in regular contact with drivers through calls and messages to monitor progress and address issues.
- Track real-time vehicle locations and respond quickly to delays, breakdowns, or changing conditions.
- Update dispatch systems and maintain accurate records of daily operations.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to keep vehicles in service-ready condition.
- Work with safety and ELD teams to track driver availability and compliance with Hours of Service rules.
- Prepare daily summaries and next-day plans to support continuous workflow.
Requirements
- Functional English at B1-B2 level, sufficient for clear written and verbal communication.
- No prior dispatch experience required—training and mentorship provided.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks independently.
- Self-driven mindset with a focus on results and consistent performance.
- Reliable equipment: laptop, headset, and UPS to maintain connectivity during power interruptions.
- Full-time availability (minimum 40 hours weekly) during one of three shifts: Morning (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM CT), Daytime (4:30 PM – 12:30 AM CT), or Night (12:30 AM – 8:30 AM CT).
