Responsibilities
- Supports junior team members through training and guidance as necessary.
- Identifies customer financial needs and offers tailored advice on personal banking and borrowing solutions.
- Manages transaction outcomes from customer interactions or routes them to relevant internal departments.
- Refers complicated or unresolved customer cases to management when needed.
- Completes necessary documentation to accurately fulfill customer requests.
- Stays up to date on personal lending products, industry practices, and market trends to inform customer discussions.
- Conducts research on lending applications following defined procedures.
- Responds to customer inquiries with professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency.
- Incorporates relevant marketing initiatives into customer conversations where appropriate.
- Safeguards the confidentiality of customer and institutional data.
- Recognizes and reports potential money laundering indicators.
- Follows regulatory standards, including anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing, consumer protection, and privacy regulations.
- Makes or advises on credit decisions in line with sound lending principles and internal policies.
- Applies approved credit assessment tools to meet customer needs.
- Executes varied and complex tasks within set guidelines, including resolving escalated issues from colleagues.
- Evaluates problems and determines appropriate resolutions.
- May be assigned additional duties as required.
