Responsibilities
- Collaborate as part of a team managing research-level yield trial plots, including planting, upkeep, spraying, phenotyping observations, and harvesting.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and research tools such as precision planters, drones, automated phenotyping systems, and research combines.
- Carry out all duties in alignment with company safety protocols, stewardship practices, and required training completion.
- Assist in achieving trial objectives by supporting field setup, planting operations, phenotyping efforts, and harvest activities.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with team members and supervisors on project progress, task status, and data quality.
- Conduct planting, spraying, care, and harvesting of corn, soybean, and wheat research trials to meet data accuracy and schedule requirements.
Other
- This position runs seasonally from March 1st to November 30th.
- Includes a scheduled break period of approximately three months between growing seasons.
- Classified as a Peak Time Employee role—a permanent full-time position with one annual extended unpaid leave during off-peak months.
