NNI Construction is hiring a Traveling Superintendent to serve as the on-site leader responsible for ensuring every NNI project is completed safely, on schedule, and to our high standards of quality. What You'll Do
- Adhere to project schedules and specifications as set forth by the Project Manager and Director of Construction.
- Ensure compliance with construction plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures on site.
- Foster a positive and safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Monitor and address safety concerns proactively.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with all project stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and progress photos/videos.
- Identify and address construction-related challenges and obstacles proactively.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop innovative solutions to maintain project progress.
- Manage and coordinate all 16 trades and subcontractors on site for a smooth workflow.
- Provide initial resolution of disputes, poor workmanship, scheduling delays, and other on-site issues.
- Maintain effective and collaborative communication and coordination with the Project Manager.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years as a Superintendent for a General Contractor in retail/commercial construction.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial/retail construction experience.
- Hands-on experience leading and managing a team of subcontractors and on-site personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, direction, and support for effective collaboration.
- OSHA30 certification with 1 year of experience maintaining it.
Team & Environment
You will be responsible for the supervision of all 16 trades on site and will report directly to the Project Manager.
